Engaged in news reading at AIR & DD both in Hindi and Urdu apart from being an approved A class artist of All India Radio and Dordarshan. Also have hands-on experience in production, script writing, make and voice-over etc. A former minister of state (Independent Charge), IT and Government of Uttar Pradesh, She is member of Legislative Council, U.P. forsecond consecutive term, member of Central Haj Committee, Government of India and a Senoir Reader in Urdu Department , Lucknow University Presently appointed as an Additional Proctor at Lucknow University, she has also held other administrative post as well.

Having hands-on experience in PR Activities, Media Management, Media Relations, Acting Production (radio, television,theatre), Editing, Camera Handling, Event Management, Comparing, Script Writing and Teaching etc. Have done various live programs of one hour duration & jingles on AIR FM, Radio Mirchi etc.
